Recently, I decided to take back to blogging and become serious about it. As I would like to be a successful designer and be able to present my ideas I would have to get into the habit of sharing bits and bobs as I create. Posting my work and developing projects and photographing things I stumble across. What I hope to get out this… a timeline of my progess.
This photo was taken in 2016 as I looked across the road waiting for the traffic lights to change. I decided I would practice my “photography” and brush up on my skills. Using the iPhone 6. Edited it on the phone using Sepia, hue channels mostly green, instal filter and a little exposure.
The Mac room. The composition depicts the mac computers as the centre of attention. It communicates a sense of dominating aspect. This space is for digitally interaction.
A set of #vector shapes animated!
Animation from the collection of Self- Directed Project GEO SHAPES
For the project I made a series of 17 diamond shapes. Exploring different brush options and so on. During the project these methods and applications gave me a further insight and experience into generating ideas from one theme to another.
Please see Geo-colour
Adding colour to the shapes for the base and stroke. By tweaking the stroke size and adding a background colour gives the shape a new dimension and a nostalgic design appearance. While developing this idea it was clear what theme would direct the final design.
